VAMIKA POV
I wake up early in morning today is my results of second year I am doing BBA course
After changing I was going to Isha house as our results are going to announce online so I came to Isha my cutie bestie she is the first person after my nani who doesn't treat me in bad way she cares for me she loves me . I reach her house we both were nervous for our result when Isha mom come with two coffee cups
"Chill girls I know you both will nail it" Aunty say
" But aunty you know this time paper was so hard "I said then instantly isha said back " But not for you you were taking supplementary sheets and you are saying you are scared don't joke yaar"
" I am serious Isha if that's point you also take supplementary sheets " I said back
" I can't win against you in any arguments " She said while sigh I just smile at her aesthetic
"Don't worry I know you both will have good scores my blessing are with you " Aunty said making us feel a bit less nervous
Our eyes remain connect to laptop screen after 5 minutes portal open Isha start to check her result she got second position
" Ma I got second position in whole semester " She said excitedly I feel happy for her . But I am scared for myself
My fingers were trembling on key board I was so nervous for my results I put my details and enter it as I look up at Isha and aunty both were looking at me waiting for me to tell result I close my eyes tightly
"Isha please check it yaar I am scared " I said for a while there was a complete silence I slowly open my eyes looking at Isha she was looking at me with widen eyes
" What please tell me I got good rank" I said then instantly I feel Isha hug Me tightly " What happened Isha did I not get the marks we decided" I asked her she broke the hug look at me with tear glistening in her eyes " Buddhu you got first position " She said for a while I was in shock " WHAT! I got first position please tell me it's a dream " I said
Isha again hug me and said " It's not a dream your hard work paid off girl you nail it I am proud of you " As she said I feel emotional because in these years no one said that they're proud of me I hug her back and start crying after a while we parted away she looks at me and said " I am always by your side don't feel like you are alone I am there for you always vamika " She said
"Now stop crying it's time to celebrate you both got top position now you both got opportunity to work in any company all over india" Aunty said
We just nodded after a while we both stop crying then aunty come to us with two box in her hand we both look up with question look
" It's gifts for both of you " Aunty say while smiling we both open the gifts

After seeing gift we both hug aunty whispering thank you then aunty said " Change in it and went to temple for god blessing"
" Yes mom we will go " Isha said I just nodded after changing into Annarkali suit,bangles, jhumka and sandals aunty given to us.we went to temple after reaching temple we buy flowers and prasaad for puja (worship God) when we reach the door of temple it was close then Isha ask the guard standing outside the temple door" Mandir ka darwaza bandha kyu hai uncle "
( why are the gate of mandir close uncle)
Then uncle reply " Aaj Mandir Mein Koi Bade Ghar wale loga Aaye Hain isliye darwaza bandha hai "
( today in temple some rich people came that's why door are closed)
" Yeh toh galat baat hai na " I said
( this is wrong isn't it)
Uncle reply " Hum kya kar sakte hai beta"
( what we can do beta)
I was lost in thoughts then isha said " Ham Piche ke Raste Se Ja sakte hain Mandir ke andar"
(We can enter the temple from the back door)
" per yah galat Nahin hoga" I said
( isn't it's wrong)
" kuch galat nahi hai we just want to pray to God that's why we are entering inside the temple and this temple is not there territory it's our also so we can" Isha said
( nothing is wrong)
" Uhmm okay" I said nervously we both went to backside door of temple and luckily there was no guard we both planed that we will do our puja not coming in front of anyone inside the temple we enter inside temple
The whole temple was fully decorated looking so beautiful we both amused by the view of temple we both said together " It's looking so beautiful "
"It's looking like today is a festival" I said
" Maybe the family came they want to decorate temple " Isha said I look at Isha " Maybe they want it .we should quickly finsh our puja and leave from here before anyone notice us " I said Isha nodded while understanding what I want to convey
We both keep our self hidden from everyone and start doing our puja after a while when I open my eyes after praying I see a women in Banarasi saree her pallu is near a diya it didn't catch fire but I want to help her. To tell her that her pallu is near diya but if I go in front of her she will ask how I am here? Etc so I drop the idea a while later I see it starts burning without thinking much I went running toward her and take extinguish fire of her pallu by my hand with one final try now her pallu is not burning anymore .
By seeing fire I remember the accident that take everything away from me . Memories of that night flash In front of my eyes I didn't even notice when a tear escape from my eyes I came back to reality when I feel someone is taking my hand I look up to see the women whom I save from fire she start to blew air on my hand
" beta aap ne Aisa Kyu Kiya dekho aapka Hath jaal gya " Aunty said while blewing air on my burned hand
( beta why did you do that see your hand got burned)
"aunty ab Aadat pad Gai Hai Iski" I said I didn't even realize that word slip from my mouth
( aunty now I am used to it)
There was silence for a while then I feel a grip on my another wrist I saw Isha but why she had covered her face with chuni she came near my ear and said " Run " I was about to run when I feel aunty is still holding my hands
" I am so sorry for disturbing your puja but I can't let you get hurt aunty " I said
" It's okay but from where you came main door is closed " Aunty asked I reply her while looking down " Uhmm from backside door " There was pin drop silence
When I listen another women saying " These girls doesn't have any manners entering inside temple when we restricted it " I feel Isha getting furious I hold her wrist tightly telling her not to say anything
"beta Tumne Sahi kara andar Aakar agar tum nahin aati to mujhe chot lag jaati thank you" Aunty said
( Beta you did the right thing come inside if you didn't came I would have been hurt)
"Don't say thank you aunty just give your blessing " I said she is looking at me while smiling I bent and touch her feet " May God always give you happiness " Aunty said
" Aunty I have to go " I said then aunty said back " I wish to meet you again " I just nodded and then Isha and me both runaway from there after we both came out of temple
" Why did you hide your face isha " I asked her she didn't reply
" Reply me " I said again
" Vamika it's a long story I will tell you some other day " Isha said to me I nodded
Who is this lady whom vamika save ? What is her destiny with her? Will they ever meet again? Why did isha hide her face? Does she knows the lady they meet in temple?
